How to Join or Create a Kaddy League

Kaddy is league-first. That means every pick, result, and standing belongs to a league, whether it is a small friend group, a club pool, a podcast community, or a larger private competition.

How to create a league

  • Sign in to Kaddy.
  • Choose the option to create a league.
  • Name the league something your group will recognize.
  • Choose the schedule type and scoring format.
  • Review the settings and create the league.
  • Invite members and ask them to join before the first event locks.

Settings to decide before launch

The two biggest commissioner choices are schedule and scoring. Your schedule controls which events count for the league. Your scoring format controls whether standings are ranked by earnings or FedEx points.

It helps to decide these rules before inviting everyone, especially if your group has played from a spreadsheet in the past.

How to join a league

Members can join a Kaddy league from the invitation path shared by the commissioner. Once they are in, they can open the league, review the current event, and submit their pick before lock.

Commissioner tips

  • Start with a small test group if your league is new.
  • Explain the scoring format before the first pick.
  • Remind members that picks lock when the event begins.
  • Use the standings and pick history to answer league questions during the season.

Once the league is created, Kaddy becomes the home base for the season. Members know where to pick, commissioners know where to check activity, and the group gets a cleaner way to follow the race.
