Game Basics

What is One & Done fantasy golf?

One & Done is a season-long fantasy golf format where each participant picks one golfer for each PGA Tour event. Your pick earns credit for that tournament, and you cannot use that golfer again later in the same league.

What makes the format strategic?

Members balance short-term form, major championships, signature events, course fit, field strength, and season timing. Burning an elite golfer early can help now, but it may leave you short later.

Is Kaddy a traditional fantasy golf platform?

No. Kaddy is purpose-built for One & Done leagues instead of roster management, trades, waivers, or weekly head-to-head fantasy formats.

Picks & Locks

How do weekly picks work?

Open your league, review the available PGA Tour field, and choose one golfer before the event begins. Kaddy keeps your used-golfer history separate for each league.

When do picks lock?

Picks lock before the tournament begins so every member is playing by the same deadline. After lock, the pick is treated as final for that event.

Can I play in multiple leagues?

Yes. Leagues are independent, so your members, standings, settings, pick history, and used-golfer list are tracked separately in each league.

Scoring & Standings

How does Kaddy score a league?

Kaddy is designed to apply PGA Tour event results automatically using the league scoring setup, including tournament earnings and/or FedEx points.

How is the season winner decided?

The winner is determined by cumulative season performance. Each event adds to a member total, and the league standings update as results are applied.

What can members see?

Members can track rank, earnings, FedEx points, previous picks, event status, and the remaining golfer pool so the league stays transparent.

Commissioners

Who should create a Kaddy league?

Kaddy works for friend groups, golf podcasts, country clubs, businesses, and communities that want a clean One & Done pool without spreadsheet upkeep.

What does Kaddy automate?

Kaddy reduces manual work around pick tracking, used golfers, event results, standings, league history, and repeat weekly questions.

Can a league cover only part of a season?

One & Done is often season-long, but commissioners may run a chronological slice of the season or focus on event groups such as majors and signature events.
